The Horns of Taurus

The Sign of Taurus begins the last set of four signs in the Zodiac; you will now see the great judgement and conclusion of God’s plan for a sinful world. Torus means ‘Bull’ and many scriptures make reference to the horns of the bull-

“For behold, Your enemies, O LORD, for behold, Your enemies shall perish; All the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. But my horn You have exalted like a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.” – Ps. 92:9-10

“Save Me from the lion’s mouth and from the horns of the wild oxen!” – Ps. 22:21

Historians claim these wild oxen were fierce, wild, and untamable. Although now extinct, scientist have found remains of them in northern Israel, and they are only slightly smaller than the elephant! The Biblical name for them is ‘Reem”. Moses prophesied of them when blessing Joseph’s sons – “His glory is like a firstborn bull, and his horns like the horns of the wild ox (reem); Together with them He shall push the peoples to the ends of the earth; They are the ten thousand of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.” – Deut. 33:17. This bull represents none other than Jesus Christ coming with the fierceness which He shows toward the devil and his kingdom. To all who act wickedly, He is coming with judgement but to the righteous, He is coming with strength to rescue.

Taurus with PleiadesThe constellation Taurus has as its hind quarters a Lamb, but its front quarters are a Bull. This depicts Jesus’ first coming as the Lamb that takes away the sin of the world, but He will come the second time as a fierce Bull, full of rage and fire. In Revelation when the wicked of the world experience His coming they say, “and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!” (Rev. 6:16). Malachi describes the Day of the Lord in this way –

“For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, and all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up,” Says the LORD of hosts, “That will leave them neither root nor branch.” – Mal. 4:1

This reminds me of the 2nd. Decan of Taurus, Eridanus, the River of Fire that proceeds from the Throne of God and leads to hell. All those who have rejected Jesus as their Redeemer will find their place in this River of Fire. But Malachi’s next scripture describes the goats shouldered in the 3rd. Decan’s Auriga arm, –

“But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; And you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves.” – Mal. 4:2

As Jesus goes forward like Orion, to cleanse His kingdom of all the unrighteous and wicked, and that includes those claiming to be Jews or Christians who have not accepted the pure Gospel of Jesus by faith, it will be like Psalm 91 as the believer looks on, “A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look and see the reward of the wicked.” – (Ps. 91:7-8). Can you imagine what that will be like as you witness the carnage of the wicked, some of whom you may have known.

When the Bull of Judgement rides forth it will not be as comfortable as some have imagined it to be. As you look on the destruction, I’m sure you will wish you had done more to warn those being lost. You will be thankful that you are saved but, sad too at the loss. Like the people in Revelation who call on the rocks to cover them, I’m sure you cannot fully imagine what the wrath of God will look like when it is poured out. The Sign of Taurus should make each of us more serious in reaching the lost and in praying for them.

joshua-jerichoNow Taurus is just the first sign of the last four signs, and they get worse as we progress. It will not be a comfortable thing t fall into the hands of the living God! I pray you will take this message to heart and do as God meant it when He created the heavens and these constellations in them. Let a new sense of urgency come on you to reach the lost and those who are asleep.
