In the beginning of the Book of Revelation, Jesus dictates letters to seven churches which were found in Asia. These letters have always carried an aura of mystery about them because at the time of Revelation there were more than seven churches existing so why did Jesus single out these seven? I believe these letters are both historic and prophetic. These churches actually existed but the message to them also has prophetic undertones of the the end time churches. Five of the churches have fallen in different ways and need correction, one is suffering heavy persecution, and one is small but still standing on God’s word. As I wrote in Preparation for the Battle Ahead, there is no victory in this end-time battle for the lukewarm. Churches that have surrendered to the world’s standards will not be able to stand for Christ in the battles ahead. Those that do not preach the word of God to sinners will not stand with Christ.   1. “Worldwide recession caused by economic confusion”

  3. “A flood of filth and a baptism of dirt in America”

  5. “A persecution madness against truly Spirit filled Christians who love Jesus Christ”

One prophecy that is being played out right now before us is one given to Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel. It was given by an African Pastor and concerns Israel and the new Temple. It is told in this video by Jonathan Cahn on the Jim Bakker Show –

It reminds us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, which is one of the prime targets of Satan and those who carry out his work.

From time to time it is good to remember what others in the past have said in the Name of the Lord (prophesies they have given). The following vision was given by an old Norwegian woman in 1968 and shared by Jonathan Cahn on the Jim Bakker show –

Many things in this vision remind me of the vision George Washington is reported to have had at Valley Forge. Although it is quite long, I will include it here. Although we have it via the reporting of an old soldier and a writer who may have added some editorial license, I feel the basic vision is true.
