Revelation 7 (The Intermission)

4 angels of revelation7-6Between Revelation chapters 6 and 8 there is an intermission, a pause before the judgments of the 7th seal begin. The four angels who are about to harm the earth and the sea are restrained –

“After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree. Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” – Rev. 71-3

Before God unleashes these judgments on he earth He seals His servants on earth. There are 144,000 of them from the 12 tribes of Israel. A strange fact is however that Manasseh and Joseph are listed but the tribe of Dan is missing. Joseph had two sons who became tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim so why are the tribes of Dan and Ephraim missing? Continue reading

Is Daniel’s 10 Toe Empire Forming Now?

harlot48Daniel predicted the final satanic kingdom on earth would resemble 10 toes of iron mingled with clay – are they forming now? I believe they are. We know them as the EU, but very few understand the history of the EU. Remember, since Rome, most of the would-be empires that wanted to rule the world came out of Europe: Rome, Charlemagne and the Holy Roman Empire, Napoleon, and Hitler. While they are not the only ones seeking such power, they were certainly among the most successful. I believe they are the predecessors of the final kingdom Daniel described. Also remember Satan knows few things influence man more than money and religion, and his final kingdom will be a mixture of them both. The EU is built on both. It is why John describes this final kingdom as the False Harlot (the false church) riding the Beast in Revelation 17:2-6. Daniel further writes – Continue reading

Who are the Sealed of God?

sealed servantIn the Book of Revelation, before seventh seal is broken, God commands His servants to be sealed for their protection.

“Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads. And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed – Rev. 7:1-4

Lessons from the church of Laodicea

This is the last letter out of seven that Jesus dictated and it is perhaps the saddest for it highlights how easy it is for all of us to get complacent and satisfied with the status quo. Hear the message –

(I would like to thank Day of Eternity for the background music used in this video)

I like to think of these seven letters as ‘love letters of Jesus‘ to me. He said, “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.”  Continue reading

Lessons from the church of Philadelphia

philadelphia open doorEveryone who studies Scripture wants to be in the church of Philadelphia because it alone was promised protection from the Great Tribulation Jesus said was coming.

“Since you have kept My command to endure patiently, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.” – Rev. 3:10

It was also the church that Jesus gave an ‘open door‘ to. They were not wealthy and were not mighty in worldly power and influence but, they were rich in faithfulness. With this intro I give the video introduction to the church of Philadelphia. Continue reading

Lessons from the church of Sardis

The church of Sardis presents us with the dilemma Jesus warned about in the parable of the tares (in Matt. 13:24-43): There will be true and false Christians in the church right up to the 2nd coming of Christ when the angels will gather out the tares and burn them in the fire. The message of repent and watch for the Lord’s coming is given to all but, only the faithful will hear it. The following video explains the church of Sardis –

Lessons from the Church of Thyatira

hand-on-wallThe church in Thyatira had many good qualities and works, and their works were increasing. But, they had the cart before the horse, so to speak. Right relationship with the Son and Father will lead to good works, but works alone can never lead to right relationship with the Son and the Father. Jesus told a story that has always put the fear of God into me –

“Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done wonders in Your name? And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!” – Matthew 7:21-23

Who then can be saved? Those who are not lawless and obey Him. God told King Saul, through Samuel, Obedience is better than sacrifice.”

While Thyatira was doing many good things, they were allowing disobedience to God’s word in their midst. They were allowing women to usurp the authority God placed in men. I know many today will disagree with my interpretation of this but, I must be faithful to declare the truth that God has revealed, not what a politically correct culture declares. Continue reading
