Hidden within this Tetrad are many other mysteries: the Year of Jubilee, the former and latter rains, the warning of the Shemitah, the mystery of Jesus’ 3 1/2-year ministry, all 7 Feasts of the Lord, the meaning of solar eclipses, the numbers 7 and 8, and possibly the beginning of the end. In the last article I covered the Year of Jubilee and the Latter Rain.

In this article I plan to cover the 3 1/2-year ministry of Jesus.

Since Jesus died on the Cross during the first eclipse of the first Blood Red Moon Tetrad, we must ask “Does Jesus’ ministry have anything to do with Antichrist’s Covenant with Israel?” To answer that question, we need to look at a prophesy given by the prophet Daniel.

“And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary (that people was Rome). The end of it shall be with a flood, and till the end of the war desolations are determined (2000 years of dispersal).

Then he (the Antichrist) shall confirm a covenant with many for one week (7 years); but in the middle of the week, he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. and on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate.” – Daniel 9:26, 27

Jerusalem was destroyed with ‘a flood’ and shortly after, during the revolt of Bar Kochba, all Jews were expelled from the land left to wander the wildernesses of the world, which they did for some 2000 years. After Israel is restored and they won’t be fully restored until three things are true: 1) they are back in the land, 2) Jerusalem is their Capital, and 3) their temple is rebuilt. After these three things and only then can the second part of Daniel’s prophesy come true. The prince who is out of Rome will make a 7-year peace deal with Israel, which he will break in 3 1/2 years and desecrate the Temple. Thus, bringing about the Abomination o Desolation that Jesus prophesied. He will attempt to rule Israel as its Messiah, but God had only allotted him 3 1/2 years. 

“So, when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not” (let the reader understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.” – Mar. 13:14

Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit to begin His ministry; the disciples were anointed with the former rain of the Holy Spirit to begin their ministry; so, we will be anointed with the latter rain of the Holy Spirit to finish the ministry.

As Jesus’ ministry was for 3 1/2 years, it is likely that the latter rain will fall to equip His body to begin the final harvest during, or just before, the first 3 1/2 years of Antichrist’s reign. Jesus began His ministry at the first of Daniel’s prophesy and I believe the Latter Rain will equip His Church to finish the ministry at the end of Daniel’s prophesy. That will also be the time the Two Witnesses will be ministering in Jerusalem. Though it may be during a time of intense trouble, that will not stop God’s harvest. I believe it will happen just after Satan is thrown down from heaven. As John wrote in Revelation –

“Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” – Rev. 12:10,11

There will be many martyrs during that time, but they will just trade their citizenship on earth for one in heaven.

“After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, … “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb” – Rev. 7:9-14

This will be the greatest world-wide harvest ever seen. Everyone who receives this ‘latter ran’ of the Holy Spirit will do all that Jesus did in His ministry, and more. However, I should warn you that there will also be false Messiahs showing miraculous signs of healing. Jesus warned, “For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.” and false prophets will abound also. They are already here –
