As we are just a few days from Christmas it would be good to reflect where we are in God’s plan for mankind. We know the Hebrew people had the promise of Messiah’s coming long before He actually came and when He really did come, many in Israel missed it because they were looking for a warrior King who would re-establish the kingdom of David. They forgot that God loved all people, all His creation, as much as He did His people Israel. God foreknew most of Israel would reject their Messiah and so the door would be open for all people to come into the Kingdom of God through the Grace that was won by Jesus on the cross.
“But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” – Micah 5:2
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.” – Isaiah 9:6,7
The people of Israel were languishing under the oppression of Rome and forgot that Messiah would first come as a ‘child’ and not a majestic warrior king to destroy Rome. They wanted and needed freedom now, not years in the future! Are we not often the same? We do not see that God uses even our hardships to fulfill His promises. The Israeli’s were dispersed and have wandered the world over for 2000 years while God in His mercy reached out to the Gentile nations with the message of salvation. Now, we are reaching the end of that time of God’s outreach and Israel is being restored. Preparation is being made for the return of Messiah, this time as the Lion of Judah to restore the kingdom of David. It will be the prophetic fulfillment of Christmas.
You might remember how Satan tried to kill Jesus when He was born. He didn’t know which baby He was, so he had his servant Herod kill all the babies in Bethlehem. As we approach the second coming of Messiah, Satan wants to destroy and Jews and Gentiles that will follow Messiah when He comes. We can see Satan’s preparations even now. The nations are gathering against Israel to destroy her. Christian persecution is at an all-time high now. He wears down the saints, changing laws to be against them, and takes their most precious possessions – their children! Daniel and John reveal his plan for control –
.”And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.” – Daniel 7:3
“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” – Revelations 13:7

School children being taught diversity
Most of the world’s governments, which are ruled by the spirit of Antichrist, have taken over parental control – using government control of the children’s education, health, and even which moralities are acceptable or not. Now, the last main bastion of freedom, the United States, is losing the battle of parental rights. Most parents would be shocked to find out how little control they have over their children. Already public schools forbid mentioning Jesus, teach against the Bible and encourage the children to worship false gods and false morality – they call it ‘diversity’.
I have included the following video to highlight the problem we are facing and urge all to act now to take back our most precious heritage from God – our children, from government control.
“Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” – Psalm 127:3
.
As we celebrate the birth of Jesus this Christmas, I urge you to also remember the war that is taking place for our children as well – pray for them and protect them in every way you can.
